About the Role
In this position, you will:
- Develop, support and exploit Access Bank’s core business system applications
- Implement development, testing and deployment of software enhancements:
- In an Oracle database, using Oracle APEX
- With SAP Business Objects reporting
- Coordinate IT business information and activities, including interpreting technical documentation
- Recommend technical solutions for projects and system improvements
- Produce comprehensive, high-quality technical documentation
- Write, read and understand database queries using SQL
- Plan and manage project workstreams
- Serve as the first point of contact for general IT support requests via Service Desk

Skills & Experience
Technical Requirements
- Experience in software development methodologies
- Relational database knowledge (SQL proficiency essential)
- System/application design & implementation experience
- Ability to create test plans from user stories/journeys and execute them effectively
- Competence in producing accurate test results and clear documentation
- Proficiency in designing, proposing and implementing software solutions
Desirable
- Exposure to databases in Linux/UNIX environments
- Knowledge of:
- Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases
- Oracle Application Express (APEX)
- JavaScript
- Unit testing experience
- Familiarity with SAP Business Objects or Crystal Reports
