Client & Location
Banking Sector – London (2-3 days on-site per week) Rate: £650-£750 p/d (Inside IR35) Contract Length: 12 months
About the Role
Experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Developer needed to support a critical General Ledger migration project for a London-based banking client.
This role will allow you to work on a key project with exposure to a high-profile financial institution, balancing remote work (5+ days) with occasional on-site participation (2-3 days/week).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to a General Ledger migration to Oracle EBS (version 12.2.4).
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions within Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) and core financial modules.
- Collaborate with internal teams on technical implementation, testing, and go-live activities.
- Test and refine customisations to ensure system functionality aligns with regulatory and business requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2.4 (system administration, customisation, and troubleshooting).
- Deep expertise in core financial modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Purchasing (PO)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Projects / iProcurement / iExpenses (bonus if exposed)
- PL/SQL development experience (custom reports, queries, workflow automation).
- Experience with Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) configurations and integrations.
- Understanding of UNIX shell scripting for automation tasks.
- Proficiency with Oracle-related tools:
- XML / BI Publisher
- Oracle Reports Builder / JDeveloper
- QA Framework (testing methodologies)
- Workflow Builder / AME Approvals Management

Nice-To-Have Additional Expertise
- Experience with integration controls (e.g., interfaces with ERP external systems).
- Exposure to Oracle Forms personalisation (custom UX enhancements).
- Familiarity with identity management / single sign-on (SSO) solutions.
