Oracle EPM Consultant

Since this solution combines KPMG’s leading expertise with the latest in ERP technology (e.g., Oracle, Workday, Coupa), it enables organisations to transform their finance operations efficiently.
KPMG’s Powered Apps teams—communities of technology-focused professionals—deliver cloud-based ERP transformation programmes like Oracle EPM, support pre-sales activities, and continuously improve the Powered Enterprise model. As an Oracle EPM Consultant, you’ll leverage Oracle EPM products—including Planning, Financial Consolidation, and Close—to drive business outcomes for clients.
KPMG is expanding its Powered Apps team to meet growing demand for their market-leading services, seeking experienced IT management consultants with relevant expertise in Oracle EPM.
Key Responsibilities
- Client delivery & advisory: Handle complex Oracle EPM engagements, contributing to project strategy, technical design, and delivery.
- Solution architecture & implementation:
- Design and implement Oracle EPM solutions (e.g., Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC), Planning, EDMCS, ARCS) in alignment with business requirements.
- Manage release planning, data migration strategy, and integration with other systems.
- Manage end-to-end Oracle SCCS (Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud Service) implementations—this is a must-have requirement.
- Technical & business expertise:
- Provide technical configuration guidance for large-scale industry Hispanic programs.
- Review functional & technical designs against business needs.
- Ensure solution traceability to design requirements.
- Accounting & process leadership:
- Work in financial close, consolidation, and reporting domains.
- Manage user readiness, training, and knowledge transfer.
- Post-go-live support: Manage implementation documentation, testing, and client deployment (including technical script and scenario preparations).
- Business process optimisation: Support client finance transformation in alignment with KPMG’s Target Operating Model, process controls, and financial change advisory.

Requirements
Technical & Functional Skills
✔ Must-haves:
- Proven delivery record in two or more Oracle EPM products (e.g., FCC, Planning, EDMCS, ARCS, SCCS).
- Technical design & solution configuration experience for large-scale Oracle EPM programs.
- Oracle SCCS (Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud Service) implementation expertise—mandatory.

✔ Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with statutory close & consolidation processes.
- Understanding of Financial Services TOM, controls, and corporate reorganisations.
- Exposure to Chart of Accounts data modelling, KPI frameworks, profitability analysis, and comparative EPM technologies (e.g., Hyperion).
- Industry expertise in Higher Education, Retail, Insurance, Local Government.
General Skills & Competencies
✔ Analytical problem-solving to simplify complex client requirements. ✔ Communication, collaboration, and decision-making across cross-functional teams and cultures. ✔ Relationship-building with clients and KPMG’s global network. ✔ Demonstrated ability to train end-users, conduct change management, and mentor junior consultants. ✔ Experience with project documentation (business requirements, traceability matrices, functional specs). ✔ Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project). ✔ Degree (or equivalent) preferred.
