Oracle EPM Consultant – 109179

Base Location: London, Birmingham or Manchester

About the Role

Powered Enterprise is KPMG’s world-class accelerated Enterprise Business Transformation approach for cloud-based solutions, powered by a pre-defined back-office function based on leading practices and KPMG’s six-layer Target Operating Model. This model includes:

  • Service delivery model
  • People & process
  • Technology & data integrity
  • Insights & governance
  • Controls

Since this solution combines KPMG’s leading expertise with the latest in ERP technology (e.g., Oracle, Workday, Coupa), it enables organisations to transform their finance operations efficiently.

KPMG’s Powered Apps teams—communities of technology-focused professionals—deliver cloud-based ERP transformation programmes like Oracle EPM, support pre-sales activities, and continuously improve the Powered Enterprise model. As an Oracle EPM Consultant, you’ll leverage Oracle EPM products—including Planning, Financial Consolidation, and Close—to drive business outcomes for clients.

KPMG is expanding its Powered Apps team to meet growing demand for their market-leading services, seeking experienced IT management consultants with relevant expertise in Oracle EPM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client delivery & advisory: Handle complex Oracle EPM engagements, contributing to project strategy, technical design, and delivery.
  • Solution architecture & implementation:
    • Design and implement Oracle EPM solutions (e.g., Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC), Planning, EDMCS, ARCS) in alignment with business requirements.
    • Manage release planning, data migration strategy, and integration with other systems.
    • Manage end-to-end Oracle SCCS (Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud Service) implementations—this is a must-have requirement.
  • Technical & business expertise:
    • Provide technical configuration guidance for large-scale industry Hispanic programs.
    • Review functional & technical designs against business needs.
    • Ensure solution traceability to design requirements.
  • Accounting & process leadership:
    • Work in financial close, consolidation, and reporting domains.
    • Manage user readiness, training, and knowledge transfer.
  • Post-go-live support: Manage implementation documentation, testing, and client deployment (including technical script and scenario preparations).
  • Business process optimisation: Support client finance transformation in alignment with KPMG’s Target Operating Model, process controls, and financial change advisory.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
