Job Description
As a Senior Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and developing secure, scalable extensions to Oracle Fusion Cloud applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and Oracle APEX on Autonomous Database (ATP/ADW).
You will play a key role in building custom applications, self-service portals, and workflow-driven solutions that enhance Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM functionality ensuring design alignment with Fusion architecture, governance, and security standards.
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced Oracle Cloud developer who can lead extension workstreams, collaborate with functional, integration, and security teams, and deliver innovative low-code solutions using Oracle’s PaaS platform.
Key Responsibilities
Extensions & Custom Applications
Lead the design and development of custom extensions and standalone applications using Oracle VBCS and Oracle APEX integrated with Fusion Cloud ERP and HCM. Build responsive, role-based user interfaces and workflows aligned with Oracle Redwood UX guidelines. Implement Fusion REST API integrations for CRUD operations and data synchronisation with Oracle SaaS. Develop solutions supporting transaction enrichment, approvals, and self-service functionality. Configure business rules, validations, and approval logic within custom components. Ensure reusability and maintainability through component-based design and modular architecture.
Data & Integration Layer
Integrate extensions with Fusion SaaS using REST APIs, OIC services, FBDI/HDL, and BICC extracts where required. Configure secure connectivity (OAuth2, certificates, SFTP) and handle authentication through OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM). Support backend automation using PL/SQL, Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS), and Server-Side Logic (SSL). Collaborate with data migration and reporting teams to ensure data consistency and auditability across environments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Contribute to R&D and internal capability-building on low-code / no-code development within OCI.
