The Platforms HR team is a community of tech-savvy professionals who work together to deliver KPMG Powered Enterprise, using a standardised delivery model that ensures high-calibre service to clients. With expertise in cloud applications like Servicenow, Oracle, Workday, and Coupa, team members drive client programs, support pre-sales efforts, and enhance Powered Enterprise solutions through constant innovation.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will:
- Develop end-to-end Oracle solutions by combining best practices with deep product analysis.
- Lead workstream delivery, including managing offshore teams for Oracle HCM Cloud transformations and change management.
- Facilitate client-facing workshops with large team engagements, including strategic meetings and stakeholder sessions.
- Manage offshore teams to design, configure, and test modules or process areas for successful client implementation.
- Build lasting client relationships, expanding expertise to address evolving business needs.
- Act as a role model for the team, embodying KPMG’s values and principles with clear leadership.

1. Leadership and Management
- Manage multiple-team projects (weeks to multiple years) of up to 6 consultants, including subcontractors and client staff.
- Deliver projects on agreed deadlines and budgets using complex analysis to address challenges like:
- Regulatory changes
- Disruptive technology
- Globalisation
- Shifting customer needs
- Demographic and sustainability concerns
- Org of 50+ team members across Audit, Legal, Tax, and Advisory services, engaging a diverse workforce to drive KPMG’s mission.
2. Stakeholder Engagement
- Work with corporate and public sector clients across multiple industries.
- Develop strong client relationships at all levels, from senior leaders to operational teams.
- Shape client decision-making through clear communication of insights and evidence.
- Collaborate across KPMG leadership hierarchy, providing updates to Partners, Directors, and colleagues.
- Engage with client leadership teams as a strategic and trusted advisor.
3. Impact, Risk, Governance, and Accountability
- A high-impact role requiring:
- Creation of robust problem-solving methodologies.
- Complex structuring and reviewing of analysis, delivering precise and effective outputs.
- Independent issue resolution with logical, implementable solutions and empirical analysis.
- Potential for additional client background checks during due diligence.
Key Requirements & Experience
Essential Criteria
- Experience as a workstream lead in minimum one Oracle HCM Cloud module.
- Background as a Functional Consultant, advising and implementing business process changes in HR.
- Demonstrable skills in:
- Facilitating client workshops and stakeholder sessions.
- End-to-end project management, including offline team leadership.
- Strong consultancy experience in pre-sales and business development.
- Adaptability with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Exceptional documentation, reporting, and presentation abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesise complex issues.
- Experience in a functional/technical project environment, ideally in HR.
- Knowledge of project deliverables, including:
- Business requirements
- Functional specifications
- Configuration documentation
- Process flows
- Use cases
- Requirements traceability matrices
- Quick learner with high aptitude for new technology.
- Ability to transfer knowledge flexibly based on context.
- Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience
- Strong grasp of HR, Talent, Recruitment (Onboarding), Payroll, Time Tracking, or Case Management applications.
- Expertise as a configuration specialist or enterprise software Project Manager.
