Oracle Systems Specialist | London
Location: London, ideally 4x days onsite
Compensation: £100,000–£110,000 plus bonus
Contract: 12-month fixed-term
Our client, a global investments business, is expanding its HR technology landscape and requires an experienced Oracle Systems Specialist to drive its Oracle Fusion HCM transformation.
This critical role aligns with a strategic initiative to optimise system performance, embed best practice, and upskill internal teams. The successful candidate will act as the lead subject matter expert (SME) across:
- Core HR
- Absence Management
- Talent Management
- Learning & Development
Focusing on delivering hands-on expertise and influencing long-term system governance, adoption, and future roadmaps—including emerging AI-driven capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead Oracle Fusion HCM Specialist, providing functional and technical guidance across all core modules.
- Train and upskill internal teams via structured knowledge transfer and targeted sessions for HR and project teams.
- Design and embed governance frameworks, ensuring best practice for configuration, usage, and change management.
- Identify underutilised features and emerging AI/Oracle Redwood UX opportunities to drive efficiency.
- Oversee system integrations, workflows, and architecture, ensuring seamless interoperability.
- Advise on Redwood UI implications for system configuration, user adoption, and digital experience.

Candidate Profile
Experience & Expertise
- Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud, with deep expertise in:
- Core HR
- Absence Management
- Talent Management
- Learning & Development
- Proven track record in in-house HR environments, with a strong grasp of HR operations and stakeholder needs.
- Experience in training, knowledge transfer, and stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical teams.

Technical & Strategic Skills
- Ability to design governance frameworks and embed best practice in HR systems.
- Solid understanding of system integrations, workflows, and user experience (UX), especially Redwood UI/UX.
- Commercially minded, with a focus on system optimisation and continuous improvement.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to operate as a senior SME in a data-driven organisation.
