Contract: 12 month FTC
Our client is a global investments business with a complex and evolving HR technology landscape. As part of an ongoing transformation, they are seeking an experienced Oracle Systems Specialist to take ownership of their Oracle Fusion HCM capability.
This role sits at the heart of a critical programme to optimise system performance, embed best practice, and upskill internal teams. The successful candidate will act as the lead subject matter expert across Core, Absence, Talent and Learn modules, ensuring the organisation fully leverages its Oracle HCM investment. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on expertise with strategic input, influencing system governance, adoption, and future roadmap decisions, including emerging AI functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the lead Oracle Fusion HCM expert, providing functional and technical guidance across Core, Absence, Talent and Learn modules.
- Deliver structured knowledge transfer and training to the in-house Oracle project team and wider HR function, building internal capability.
- Establish and embed governance frameworks and best practices for system usage, configuration and change management.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance system utilisation, including underused features and emerging Oracle AI capabilities.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of system integrations, workflows and architecture, ensuring seamless functionality across modules.
- Provide insight on Oracle Redwood UX and its implications for user adoption, system configuration and overall experience.

Candidate Profile

- Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud, with deep expertise across Core HR, Absence, Talent and Learning modules.
- Proven track record working within an in-house HR environment, with strong understanding of HR operations and stakeholder needs.
- Strong capability in training, knowledge transfer and stakeholder engagement across both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience designing and implementing governance frameworks and best practice approaches within HR systems.
- Solid understanding of system integrations, workflows and user experience considerations, including Redwood UI.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to identify system optimisation opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to operate as a senior subject matter expert within a complex organisation.
