Role: Oracle Tester Experience: 7years Location: London Work mode: Hybrid Key Responsibilities Produce Test Deliverables: Test Scenarios and Test Cases (detailed scripts) to test each software component, demonstrating the business conditions under test and the expected results. Delivers the testing component of software releases including System, Regression, Integration and User Acceptance testing. Responsible for the preparation of test environments and test data. Delivers all testing documentation relating to specified project or change including testing activity and progress reports/metrics. Responsible for highlighting and reporting defects. Provides supporting evidence of testing by creating data extracts and reports using SQL queries. Provides feedback to the management and development teams to ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and the quality requirements outlined in the test plan. Experience and Qualifications • Thorough knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and Testing Methodologies. • Proven experience of testing complex user interfaces. • Proven experience of one of the following: • batch testing of large, complex bespoke Oracle systems; • web testing, both customer facing and internal applications. Experience of mobile/tablet testing an advantage. Experience of using Jira as defect logging tool an advantage. • Testing .net / c# solutions – Digital solutions • Detailed knowledge of manual testing, automated test experience is desirable. • Knowledge of extracting test conditions from a variety of documents. • Ability to compare requirement and design documents to identify missing/incomplete/inconsistent items. • Experience of defect tracking tools. • Experience of liaising with analysts, developers and users to determine new business processes and/or resolve problems. • Degree level education and ISQTB accreditation desirable. • Experience of using SQL Developer or Toad desirable Salary: 55 - 60 GBP Per annum
