Oracle WMS Consultant
Senior Consultant – Oracle Cloud WMS Cloud Implementation (Remote-Flexible UK)
Location: Flexible within the UK mainland

Your Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities)
As a senior consultant, you’ll:
Project Delivery & Leadership
- Contribute to and lead all phases of the consulting lifecycle, from requirement analysis to post-implementation support.
- Guide project teams in designing, configuring, and deploying Oracle WMS Cloud solutions.
- Ensure delivery of project milestones (documentation, client presentations, testing).
Functional Expertise
- Specialize in Oracle Cloud WMS, advising on warehouse processes including:
- Receiving, put-away rules, picking strategies, cross-docking, kitting, and expiry date management.
- Develop solution architectures, functional designs, and configuration documentation.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and collaboroolate with development/integration teams.
- Liaise with client stakeholders for clear communication of technical/functional outcomes.

Commercial & Strategic Contributions
- Lead proposal development and rightsizing of Oracle WMS offerings for potential clients.
- Support pre-sales activities, including Proof of Concepts (PoC) and sandbox demonstrations.
- Accelerate innovation in our WMS capabilities by sharing insights across teams.
Required Technical & Professional Expertise
Experience (Non-Negotiable)
- 5+ years of functional experience in Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations, with a focus on Oracle Cloud WMS.
- 2+ full Oracle Cloud WMS implementation projects, from scoping to go-live.
- 10+ further years of Supply Chain application delivery, including multifaceted WMS environments (on-premise/cloud).
- Proven ability to lead sub-projects and supervise consultant teams (onshore/offshore) using delegation trusts.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle WMS processes:
- Core functionalities like receiving, picking strategies, and serialisation.
- Advanced areas: customs compliance, reverse logistics, VOC/UOC management.
- Hands-on experience in Oracle SCM cloud products e.g., Inventory Management, Order Management.
- Technical aptitude covering integration architecture design, troubleshooting, and APIs for WMS interactions.
- Mealware and presentation skills for stakeholder/non-technical audiences.

Certifications & Security Clearance
- Preferred: Oracle Cloud WMS Implementation Certification (or equivalent professional credentials).
- Security clearance compliant with UK Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), with potential for further vetting (National Security Vetting (NVS)).

All hire commitments require a UK government security assessment, including BPSS least arrears and eligibility for expanded clearance (Security Check or Developed Vetting).
