Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant, you’ll play a central role in every phase of the consulting lifecycle, including:
- Requirements analysis, business process documentation, and solution design
- Guiding project teams through solution development, configuration, and deployment
- Ensuring project processes and deliverables are met and setting examples for your team
- Supporting proposal development—demonstrating solutions to potential customers
- Shaping future offerings while building Warehouse Management System (WMS) capabilities

Key responsibilities include:
- Project leadership in Oracle Cloud WMS implementations across industries
- Hands-on solution design, requirements analysis, client-facing communication, and stakeholder management
- Onshore and offshore team delegation, multi-tasking, and independent work under tight deadlines
- Technical deep-dive expertise in warehouse processes such as:
- Receiving, put-away rules, picking strategies, cross-docking, kitting, and expiry date management
- Integration architecture and collaboration with technical teams for interfaces, development, and testing
- Pre-sales engagement including Proof of Concepts, sandbox configurations, and proposal presentations

Qualifications and Experience
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
Technical & Professional Expertise
(Location: Flexible within the UK mainland)
Mandatory Requirements
- 5+ years of functional experience in Oracle Cloud WMS implementations
- 2+ full Oracle Cloud WMS project cycles completed
- 10+ years of proven leadership in Warehouse Management applications
- Oracle WMS implementation experience, including:
- Approved architecture, process design, troubleshooting, and configuration documentation
- Hands-on specialisation in receiving, putaway, picking, cross-docking, kitting, and expiry handling
- Managerial expertise in leading production teams (onshore/offshore), delegating effectively, and multi-tasking independently
- Client-facing roles requiring persuasive communication and stakeholder management
- Experience with performance metrics to establish implementation methodologies and cost/benefit alignment

Security Clearance
- Role is subject to BPSS screening; National Security Vetting (NVS) may include Security Clearance (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) eligibility assessment.
Preferred Experience
- Additional Oracle Cloud SCM experience, including:
- Oracle ERP/CLOUD ERP integrations with on-premise systems
- Cross-functional SCM exposure (Inventory Management, Order Management, etc.)
- Eager participation in Oracle WMS certification and domain authority in Supply Chain operations
- Expertise in pre-sales activites—sandbox preps, POC deliveries, and technical business presentations
- Flexibility to travel to client sites as required for project deadlines
Note: A degree or vendor certifications in IT, Operations, Business, or Engineering with Supply Chain focus is preferred for qualification.
