Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant, you will:
- Contribute to and lead all phases of the consulting lifecycle, including requirement analysis, business process documentation, and solution design.
- Work as a customer-facing advisor, engaging in requirement analysis, functional design, and configuration documentation.
- Develop, configure, and deploy solutions while ensuring project process adherence and deliverables are met.
- Manage and contribute to proposal development, demonstrating Oracle WMS solutions to potential clients.
- Play a key role in building our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) capabilities and offerings, including pre-sales and proof-of-concept (PoC) activities.

Guiding the Team
- Lead small teams of consultants (on-shore and off-shore), assigning tasks and managing workflows.
- Multi-task effectively and work independently under pressure.
- Lead integration with technical teams for interface design, development, and testing.
- Ensure effective client-facing communication and stakeholder management.
Key Requirements
Technical & Professional Experience
- Location: Flexible within the UK mainland
- 5+ years of functional experience in Warehouse Management (WMS) implementations, specifically Oracle Cloud WMS.
- At least 2 full Oracle Cloud WMS implementation cycles completed.
- 10+ years’ proven track record delivering Warehouse Management applications.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and delegate tasks.
- Deep expertise in Warehouse Processes, including:
- Receiving
- Put-away rules
- Picking strategies
- Cross-docking
- Kitting
- Expiry date management
Solution Delivery & Design
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Solution design
- Requirements analysis
- Functional configuration
- Troubleshooting and integration architecture

Pre-Sales & Client Engagement
- Experience conducting proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and naming sandbox environments for demonstrations.
- Ability to present technical and business proposals to clients.
- Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
Security Clearance
- This role requires pre-employment security screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
- Additional National Security Vetting (NVS) may apply, which could involve compliances like Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in:
- Computer Science
- Operations Management
- Engineering
- Business Administration
- Or a related field from an accredited institution
Technical Specialisations
- Oracle Cloud WMS Implementation Certification
- Experience integrating Oracle Cloud WMS with Oracle Cloud ERP or other cloud/on-premise applications.
- Domain expertise in Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes, particularly those interacting with WMS.
- Familiarity with other Oracle Cloud SCM products (e.g., Inventory Management, Order Management).
- Achievable security clearance (or existing clearance).
Note: This role requires compliance with UK security vetting processes.
