Oracle WMS Consultant
Senior Consultant – Oracle Cloud WMS (Hybrid Cloud & AI)

Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in the full consulting lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving customer-facing engagements, including requirements analysis, business process documentation, and solution design.
- Leading and guiding a project team to develop, configure, and deploy solutions, ensuring delivers meet project standards.
- Supporting proposal development, demonstrating Oracle Cloud WMS capabilities to potential clients.
- Actively contributing to the growth of IBM’s WMS consulting offerings.
With proven implementation experience of Oracle Cloud WMS, you’ll work under pressure, deliver high-impact projects, and mentor junior team members. You’ll take ownership of warehouse management projects across Europe, pioneering innovative Supply Chain solutions.

Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
Technical & Professional Experience
✅ Location: Flexible (UK mainland) ✅ +5 years of functional experience in Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations ✅ 2+ full Oracle Cloud WMS implementation cycles ✅ +10 years of proven track record delivering WMS solutions ✅ Experience leading project streams and managing multi-disciplinary teams (onshore and offshore) ✅ Ability to multi-task independently and deliver under tight deadlines
Key Technical Competencies:
- Expertise in Oracle Cloud WMS functionalities, including:
- Receiving processes
- Put-away rules
- Picking strategies
- Cross-docking
- Kitting & expiry date management
- Solution design, requirements analysis, Configuration Documentation
- Troubleshooting & integration architecture
- Experience working with technical teams for interface design, development, and testing
- Strong client-facing communication & stakeholder management skills
Security Clearance
- Role subject to UK Government Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
- Potential National Security Vetting (NVS) required (equivalent to Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV))

Preferred Skills & Experience
✦ Experience integrating Oracle Cloud WMS with Oracle Cloud ERP or other on-premise/cloud applications ✦ Deep knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes ✦ Familiarity with Oracle Cloud SCM products (e.g., Inventory & Order Management) ✦ Experience in pre-sales activities, including:
- Conducting Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
- Managing sandbox environments for functional demonstrations
- Presenting technical and business proposals to stakeholders ✦ Additional Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (Computer Science, Business Administration, Operations/Supply Chain Engineering) ✦ Oracle Cloud WMS Certification ✦ Existing Security Clearance
