Emplas is one of the UK’s largest window and door fabricators. As a manufacturer of double glazing we partner with leading window systems suppliers, and offer some of the industry’s most technically advanced low maintenance and energy efficient aluminium and U-PVC windows and doors. Position:

Key Responsibilities And Duties

  • Take ownership of the Communications page, where all manual orders and quotes are received.
  • Review incoming requests, complete feasibility checks, and ensure all required information is present.
  • Log orders and quotes promptly and accurately for the wider team to process.
  • Support the production/processing team with processing errors and ensure this is communicated with the customer.
  • Support with the logging and administration of manual orders.
  • Assist with stock order entry and checks as required. Maintain high levels of accuracy when inputting data into systems.
  • Handle general customer enquiries via phone, providing clear, friendly, and professional assistance.
  • Identify issues quickly and escalate where appropriate.
  • Work closely with the Processing and CSO teams to resolve order-related questions.
  • Provide timely updates and ensure information is shared clearly across departments.
  • Proactively highlight issues or trends that may impact workflow or customer experience.
  • Ensure internal processes and procedures are followed at all times. Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows or reduce errors. Maintain accurate records and support audit or compliance activities where needed.

Requirements:

Experience

  • Previous order processing or administrator experience within the same or similar industry

Skills/Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic, driven, creative and focused.
  • Able to initiate, manage and adapt to change.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Well organised and able to prioritise workload.
  • Effective Time Management.
  • Reliable and punctual.

Other information:

  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:30
  • Salary: £24,784.50
