About the Role
As the search landscape continues to evolve, with the emergence of generative search experiences alongside increasingly complex traditional search engine results pages, our clients are looking to us for expert guidance on how to maximise their visibility across all organic search channels.
Tribus’ Digital Marketing team is hiring a Search Performance Executive to support the delivery of organic search strategies that drive visibility, engagement, and business growth. The role will encompass both traditional Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and look to explore emerging Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) techniques which will continue to sit under SEO division. The role will focus on helping clients improve their visibility across search engines and AI/LLM platforms.
What you’ll be doing:
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in organic search, including SEO, Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), AI-powered search experiences, and emerging search technologies, translating industry developments into actionable recommendations for clients.
- Support the development and ongoing evolution of client search strategies, ensuring they align with business objectives, market trends, and changes within the search landscape.
- Analyse and report on first-party and third-party data sources, providing detailed commentary, insights, and recommendations to improve client visibility, performance, and return on investment.
- Monitor and evaluate search performance across traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven discovery platforms, identifying opportunities for growth and optimisation.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, strategic guidance, and the delivery of high-quality search insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Head of Digital Marketing and Project Managers to ensure organic search activity is data-driven, strategically aligned, and effectively monitored and reported against agreed objectives.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure technical SEO recommendations, website enhancements, and search optimisation initiatives are successfully implemented, measured, and continuously improved.
- Support content, technical, and digital marketing initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve organic visibility across the client portfolio.
- Produce clear and engaging reports and presentations that communicate performance, opportunities, and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of Tribus Digital's search capabilities, processes, and service offerings as the search landscape continues to evolve.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
