Work Level: WL2C

Location: Kingston

Purpose of the Role

Unilever is reshaping how it operates — across GBS, Supply Chain & Operations, and through major M&As. This role sits at the heart of that change. You'll design the organizational structures, roles, and workforce plans that make transformation real — bringing clarity to complexity and ensuring our teams are set up to deliver in an increasingly AI-enabled world.

Key Responsibilities

1. Organisation Design – Supply Chain & Operations, GBS

  • Own end-to-end organisation design for 1-2 GBS value streams (e.g., Forecast to Report, Source to Pay) or Supply Chain & Operations functional programs (Customer Operations, GDT, Procurement).
  • Design target operating models that:
    • Simplify structures
    • Reduce layers
    • Enable scalable delivery across markets
    • Interlock with Intelligent GBS processes
  • Optimise:
    • Spans of control
    • Reporting lines
  • Benchmark against best-in-class global standards
  • Align all design work with Mirai, Intelligent GBS, and Unilever’s broader transformation priorities

2. AI and the Future of Organisation Design

  • Assess how AI, automation, and agentic tools are transforming:
    • Roles
    • Decision rights
    • Team structures
  • Design with redesigns that account for these changes
  • Build governance frameworks for:
    • AI-augmented operations (defining who decides, who oversees, accountability flows)
  • Redefine role families to reflect:
    • Human-AI collaboration (deciding what is automated, augmented, and human)

3. Workforce Planning & Analytics

  • Build and maintain workforce plans connecting:
    • Headcount
    • Skills
    • Capability needs to transformation roadmaps

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
