Organisational Development and Learning Manager

About the Role
NHS Scotland is seeking an Organisational Development and Learning Manager (Band 7) in the Western Isles, with a permanent position (36 hours per week).
Salary: £52,845 – £61,466 per annum + Distant Islands Allowance of £1,461.
The Opportunity
Help shape the future of health and care in the Western Isles.
In this influential role, you will:
- Lead the design and delivery of organisational development (OD) and learning initiatives
- Drive cultural change, leadership development, and workforce capability across NHS Western Isles
- Help transform service delivery to enhance patient and staff outcomes
Key Responsibilities
- Lead OD and learning projects aligned with organisational priorities
- Design and deliver leadership and staff development programmes
- Support transformational change and service improvement
- Embed a nurturing culture that prioritises staff wellbeing
- Develop a long-term workforce planning strategy
- Drive employability initiatives throughout the organisation

Requirements
You should have:
- Significant experience in organisational development and learning
- Strategic thinking, coupled with the ability to deliver impactful programmes
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- A passion for developing people and improving organisational performance
- A Master’s-level qualification and Chartered Membership of the CIPD
- registration is required for this role.*
