Orthodontic Dental Nurse
Dental Nurse Opportunity in Orthodontics (Part-Time, 3 days per week)
Are you a Dental Nurse looking for an engaging role in orthodontics?
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Nurse to join our busy and friendly team at Royal Bournemouth Hospital (with occasional transfers to Dorset County Hospital).
Job Requirements & Note
- This position is available part-time (3 days per week, days to be discussed at interview).
- Right to Work in the UK: No visa sponsorship available. Applicants must have legal permission to work in the UK.
Core Responsibilities
You will provide comprehensive support to clinical staff, ensuring:
- Orthodontic treatment and dental surgery assistance, including:
- Patient care and welfare
- Clinical area preparation (instrument care, cross-infection control, equipment management)
- Handling materials and supplies as needed

- Delivering high-quality, patient-focused orthodontic care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered, you must have:
- Full GDC registration
- A Certificate of Dental Nursing or equivalent NVQ
- Dental nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting
