Contract OT Security Architect
UK Wide | Hybrid Working | 6 months rolling contract | Flexible Day Rate
We're working with a leading consultancy to recruit an experienced OT Security Architect for a portfolio of high-profile projects across Critical National Infrastructure (CNI). This is an opportunity to play a key role in securing complex Operational Technology environments for clients across sectors including Energy, Utilities, Transport, Manufacturing and Defence.
You'll be responsible for designing and assuring secure OT architectures, providing technical leadership, and working closely with stakeholders to embed security into industrial control environments. This role would suit someone who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to engage with clients and influence security strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and review secure architectures for Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
- Conduct OT security architecture assessments, risk assessments and technical assurance
- Develop secure-by-design solutions for industrial environments
- Advise clients on OT security strategy, governance and best practice
- Collaborate with technical teams and client stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient OT environments
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an OT Security Architect or Senior OT Security Consultant
- Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, DCS, HMI and Industrial Control Systems
- Experience designing secure OT networks, including segmentation, defence-in-depth and the Purdue Model
- Strong understanding of OT security standards and frameworks including IEC 62443, NIST CSF, NCSC CAF/NIS and ISO 27001
- Experience delivering OT security solutions within Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environments such as Energy, Utilities, Transport, Manufacturing or Oil & Gas
