Operational Technology (OT) / Cyber Security Consultant

Location: London, Bristol, Manchester, Belfast or Melbourn (Hertfordshire)

Salary: £45,000 - £105,000 + excellent benefits

Level: Consultant, Senior Consultant & Principal Consultant

Company Overview

Our client is a leading global innovation and technology consultancy, partnering with some of the world's most recognised organisations to solve complex business and technology challenges. Combining strategy, engineering, digital transformation and cyber security expertise, they work across industries including Energy & Utilities, Defence, Government, Transport, Manufacturing and Critical National Infrastructure.

As demand for Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security continues to grow, they're expanding their specialist Cyber Security practice and are looking to hire talented consultants across multiple levels, from Consultant through to Principal Consultant.

Role Overview

This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded OT Cyber Security team, helping organisations protect the operational technology that underpins critical national infrastructure. You'll work on a diverse range of client engagements, advising on the security of industrial control systems, operational technology environments and connected infrastructure across sectors including energy, utilities, transport, manufacturing, water, oil & gas and defence.

Depending on your level of experience, you'll be responsible for delivering technical assessments, designing secure OT architectures, leading client engagements, developing cyber security strategies and supporting large-scale digital transformation programmes. Senior and Principal Consultants will also play a key role in leading project teams, managing client relationships and contributing to business development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
