Outbound Sales Representative – Oldbury (Office-Based)

About This Role

SGS’s Business Assurance division is looking for a proactive, results-driven Outbound Sales Representative to drive revenue growth through targeted outbound engagement.

Key Objectives

  • Generate new business opportunities via telephone, email, and social media to support revenue targets
  • Identify, engage, and qualify prospective clients, aligning with SGS’s Business Assurance strategy
  • Build early-stage relationships and position SGS as the preferred partner for in-demand services
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities for the wider commercial team

Responsibilities

Core Duties

  • Conduct outbound sales outreach via multiple channels (calling, email, digital platforms)
  • Research, qualify, and nurture leads aligned with target markets and product/service offerings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to convert leads into sales inquiries
  • Track and report on performance metrics (e.g., outbound calls, pipeline health)
  • Actively refresh sales pipeline to ensure continuous revenue opportunities

Essential Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, particularly in outbound (prospecting, calling, CRM management)
  • Track record of high-impact performance with results-driven targets
  • Skills in client pipeline generation and qualification processes
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or Microsoft Office packages
