Large Scale, Commercial Events Manager – AVH Parks
Salary from: £47,000 per annum Location: Wing Water, Rutland Contract: Permanent

Do you excel at blending big-picture commercial strategy with hands-on delivery? If managing partnerships, stakeholders, and operational teams to bring large-scale events to life excites you—this role is perfect for you.
In this high-profile, high-impact position, you’ll be responsible for:
- Growing our large-scale events, filming, and promotional usage offer
- Ensuring safety, financial success, compliance, and reputation are upheld
- Delivering memorable, high-ROI experiences across our Eastern Region parks
willing and ready to work with weekends and evenings?
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Event Ownership
You’ll accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle of high-complexity events, balancing:
- Concept and strategy formulation
- Contract negotiation and risk assessment
- Smooth delivery and post-event evaluation

Opportunity & Partnership Development
- Identify and grow income-generating opportunities (filming, media, partnerships)
- Establish and maintain high-value stakeholder relationships (organisers, authorities, external partners)
Operational Accountability
- Lead compliance, safety, and risk management for each event
- Act as the primary point of accountability for deliverables, budgets, and best practices
- Inspire and coach operational teams to maximise smaller-scale events’ value
Performance & Impact Measurement
- Evaluate ROI, impact, and event success, feeding insights back into future strategy

Ideal Candidate Profile
You’ll embody: ✔ Proven experience leading complex or large-scale events—whether in festivals, filming, or outdoor venues ✔ A commercial mind with a keen eye for ROI and financial acumen ✔ Confidence in risk assessment, compliance, and stakeholder negotiations ✔ Resilience to think on your feet—expecting fast-paced environments and seamless pivoting ✔ Leadership to challenge scope, say no / reset ideas when safety or value is at stake ✔ Strong draw to flourish in ownership, with minimal top-down direction
