As an Outpatient Nurse at GenesisCare Windsor, you'll be at the heart of delivering that experience, providing expert clinical care, reassurance and support to patients throughout their cancer journey—with the time, resources and multidisciplinary support to deliver the standard of care you're proud of.
This is a full-time, permanent position based onsite at our Windsor Centre.
About the Opportunity
As an Outpatient Nurse, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality nursing care within our busy outpatient department. Working alongside our consultants and multidisciplinary teams, you'll provide compassionate, personalised care throughout the patient pathway, helping to ensure every patient receives an outstanding experience from diagnosis through treatment.
You'll support consultant-led outpatient and diagnostic clinics, undertake a range of specialist nursing procedures and work collaboratively with colleagues across the centre to deliver safe, seamless and patient-centred care. This is an excellent opportunity for a registered nurse who enjoys working in a dynamic clinical environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional cancer care.
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality outpatient nursing care throughout the patient journey.
- Support consultant-led outpatient and diagnostic clinics.
- Assist with diagnostic and minor procedures, including chaperoning consultants where required.
- Perform specialist nursing procedures including venepuncture, ECGs, wound care and suture removal.
- Provide clinical advice, education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, radiographers, chemotherapy nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, clinical governance and evidence-based practice.
- Contribute to service improvements and quality initiatives that enhance patient care and experience.

What You'll Have
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
- Previous experience working within an outpatient setting, ideally within oncology or another acute speciality.
- Experience supporting outpatient clinics and diagnostic procedures.
- Competency in phlebotomy and routine clinical skills.
- Immediate Life Support (ILS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
