Outpatient Physiotherapist - Band 6 - 37.5 hours - Permanent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and self-motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Integrated Outpatient Therapy service based at Stepping Hill Hospital.

Role Details

The role will involve assessment and treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal conditions for both adult and paediatric patients referred via Surgery, ED and GP services.

Key Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well both autonomously and as part of the team
  • Evidence of experience of working within an Outpatient Physiotherapy environment is essential
  • Previous NHS experience is desirable
  • Expected to work independently
  • Relevant recent CPD is essential
  • Responsible for managing your own patient caseload within a supportive and experienced team
  • Opportunity to lead a variety of rehabilitation gym-based sessions, supervise assistants, and students
  • Expected to contribute to service development initiatives and be involved in regular audits
  • Existing skills can be further developed and consolidated through attendance at regular monthly in-service training, peer review, and clinical supervision
  • Established appraisal system to actively support Continued Professional Development
