Outpatient Physiotherapist - Band 6 - 37.5 hours - Permanent
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and self-motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Integrated Outpatient Therapy service based at Stepping Hill Hospital.
Role Details
The role will involve assessment and treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal conditions for both adult and paediatric patients referred via Surgery, ED and GP services.
Key Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well both autonomously and as part of the team
- Evidence of experience of working within an Outpatient Physiotherapy environment is essential
- Previous NHS experience is desirable
- Expected to work independently
- Relevant recent CPD is essential
- Responsible for managing your own patient caseload within a supportive and experienced team
- Opportunity to lead a variety of rehabilitation gym-based sessions, supervise assistants, and students
- Expected to contribute to service development initiatives and be involved in regular audits
- Existing skills can be further developed and consolidated through attendance at regular monthly in-service training, peer review, and clinical supervision
- Established appraisal system to actively support Continued Professional Development
