Internship Opportunity

This is a flexible internship designed to fit around your studies, work, or other commitments, while giving you real experience in sports technology, outreach, and grassroots football growth.

You will earn commission for successful leads and onboardings you help generate, meaning your hard work is still directly rewarded.

About Stratex Analytics

Stratex Analytics is a sports technology company using data and AI to improve the development, visibility, and progression of grassroots football players.

Our goal is to give grassroots football better tools, better evidence, and better opportunities. We believe talented players should not be overlooked simply because their information is scattered, unstructured, or difficult for scouts to access.

ScoutLink is our core product and the first of many. It helps coaches create stronger player profiles, gives scouts a faster way to discover suitable players, and helps players and families benefit from a more professional record of performance, development, and potential.

We are building products that make grassroots football more connected, more data-informed, and more accessible, without taking away the human judgement that makes football what it is. ⚽

Benefits of working here

  • Free football game tickets when available. 🎟
  • Free company days out
  • Workspace access when needed
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Part-time work that can fit around other commitments
  • Competitive commission-based pay
  • Hands-on experience growing an early-stage sports technology platform
  • Opportunity to work closely with the ScoutLink team
  • A chance to help build a product that gives grassroots players more visibility and opportunity

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Role Overview

ScoutLink is looking for a confident and organised Outreach Associate to help us grow our network of grassroots football coaches and scouts. The main focus of this role is to reach out to grassroots coaches, introduce them to ScoutLink, and successfully onboard them onto the platform so they can place their players in front of scouts. You will be speaking to clubs, coaches, and football contacts, explaining the value of ScoutLink clearly, following up consistently, and helping coaches complete registration and onboarding. This is not just about booking meetings. The aim is to help coaches understand the platform, complete onboarding, and start using ScoutLink to give their players more visibility.

What you will be doing?

  • Reaching out to grassroots football coaches, clubs, and football contacts through email, messages, and calls.
  • Introducing ScoutLink clearly and confidently to potential users.
  • Following up with coaches and helping move them through the onboarding process.
  • Supporting coaches until they complete registration and onboarding.
  • Reaching out to scouts as the platform grows.
  • Keeping outreach records organized and up to date.
  • Reporting progress, feedback, and completed onboardings to the ScoutLink team.
  • Sharing feedback from coaches and scouts so we can keep improving the product.
  • Helping ScoutLink build strong relationships across grassroots football communities.

Must haves

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Confident speaking to people.
  • Comfortable writing professional emails and messages.
  • Organized, reliable, and proactive.
  • Able to follow up consistently without needing to be chased.
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently.
  • Confident enough to close an onboarding, not just start a conversation.
  • Able to use Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Clear and professional in how they communicate.
  • Friendly, positive, and comfortable representing ScoutLink.
  • Interested in helping grassroots football players get more visibility.

A degree is not required. Football knowledge is helpful, but not essential. What matters most is confidence, communication, organization, and the ability to get coaches successfully onboarded.

Nice to haves

  • Football knowledge or interest in grassroots football.
  • Experience speaking to coaches, clubs, scouts, or football organizations.
  • Experience in outreach, sales, partnerships, customer success, or community building.
  • Existing grassroots football contacts.
  • Interest in sports technology, scouting, player development, or startups.

Compensation note

This is a part-time role with competitive commission-based pay linked to successful coach onboardings. Success is measured by completed coach registrations and onboarding, not just booked meetings or early conversations.
