About the Role
We are recruiting experienced Outreach tutors for our young people in the community who are unable to access education in mainstream school settings.
As an Outreach Tutor you will be working 1:1 with young people with various needs/backgrounds such as Autism, Learning difficulties, trauma etc. They are very keen learners who don't want to quit on education hence, we are looking for passionate teachers who are willing to give these learners a positive learning environment while keeping them engaged supporting their educational achievements. Student age group can vary from EFYS to GCSE/Functional Skills Level. xlqdzyr

Responsibilities
- Work 1:1 with young people with various needs/backgrounds
- Provide a positive learning environment
- Support educational achievements
Requirements
- Teaching qualifications such as PGCE, QTS, QTLS, PGDE, Degree
- Previous 1 year experience (Ideally in similar or SEN/SEMH background)
- Willing to work flexible hours to accommodate learner's needs
- Strong knowledge of English, Maths, and Science
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one (assistance provided)
