About The Job

You’ll act as our technical eyes and ears at third-party maintenance facilities, liaising with selected MROs (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) across TUI Group airlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Single point of contact: Review and authorise additional maintenance work from technical and commercial perspectives to ensure smooth operations.
  • Quality assurance: Ensure all outsourced maintenance activities meet contractual, SLAs (Service Level Agreements), and NAA (National Aviation Authority) standards, with full compliance documentation.
  • Contract compliance: Monitor work conduct against terms, supplier SLAs, and regulations.
  • Reporting & escalation: Proactively flag issues to E&M (Engineering & Maintenance) stakeholders, coordinate between MRO and TUI Group, and escalate critical concerns.
  • Stakeholder liaison: Provide expert guidance on outsourced maintenance, collaborating professionally in line with TUI values while managing expectations across diverse teams.

About You

We’re looking for a self-motivated professional with:

  • Technical background in Engineering & Maintenance (E&M), particularly in heavy maintenance, with strong commercial acumen to interpret contract terms.
  • Compliance expertise to enforce rigorous quality standards and avoid regulatory oversights.
  • Approach to challenges: Independent, proactive, and skilled in managing multiple stakeholders—from internal teams to high-level supplier negotiations.
  • International mindset: Comfortable with travel to global MRO facilities and operating with autonomy.
  • Technical & administrative skills: Fluent in standard software packages and capable of managing cost implications, logistics, and data analysis.
  • Communication strengths: Adaptable tone ensures requirements are across cultures and departments, fostering clarity and trust.
