Outsourced Senior Manager
Outsourced Senior Manager – Tax & Finance (Guildford, Surrey)
Our client, headquartered in Guildford, Surrey, is looking for an outsourced Senior Manager to strengthen their specialist tax team.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial guidance to SMEs, aiding business performance, growth, and decision-making.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, management accounts, financial reporting and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, VAT and relevant accounting regulations.
- Lead regular client meetings to review financial performance and offer commercial insights.
- Collaborate closely with audit, tax, and payroll teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Identify financial risks and implement effective controls and processes.
- Manage, coach and develop finance teams and outsourced finance functions.

Candidate Profile
- Must hold an ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification or equivalent.
- Requires significant experience in an accountancy practice outsourcing function.
- Proven track record in advising UK SMEs across multiple sectors.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
Desirable Experience
- Exposure to supporting high-growth businesses, scale-ups, or turnaround projects.
- Experience in fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, or exit planning.
- Familiarity across sectors such as professional services, technology, manufacturing or similar.
