My client is an established, director-led Accountancy practice that supports business owners and company directors across all stages of their business journey, from start-up and growth through to succession and exit planning. They also provide personal financial and tax planning services to help clients achieve long-term financial security.

Purpose
The Outsourcing Supervisor will support the delivery of high-quality management accounting and financial reporting services to a portfolio of clients. The role involves preparing and reviewing management accounts, overseeing day-to-day client work, and supporting junior team members while acting as a key client contact.

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of outsourcing clients and act as a key point of contact
- Prepare and review management accounts, VAT returns, and month-end reporting
- Provide financial analysis and commentary to support client decision-making
- Oversee bookkeeping and ensure accuracy and compliance of client deliverables
- Supervise, support, and develop junior team members
- Lead client meetings and respond to queries in a timely manner
- Support implementation and use of cloud accounting systems and digital tools
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and better reporting
- Ensure all work is delivered in line with firm standards and deadlines
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience
- Experience in management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, or outsourced finance roles
- Experience reviewing work and supporting junior team members
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles
- Experience with cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, Dext, Fathom, Telleroo)
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on quality and improvement
