The Role
Join our production team as a key operator responsible for running the Critical Control Point (CCP) for cooking and cooling meat products.
You will:
- Operate at a highly critical process point, ensuring fully compliant product output in line with all relevant regulations and company standards for safety, hygiene, quality, quantity, and cost.
- £15.10 per hour – competitive pay with the opportunity to grow.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Run cooking and cooling processes to meet product specifications.
- Monitor and maintain rigorous standards on all production factors: safety, hygiene, quality, quantity, and cost.
- Operate and oversee equipment to ensure adherance to production requirements and expected throughput.
- Accurate record-keeping: complete all necessary paperwork and compliance documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and across all team lines to sustain a productive, professional environment.

This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone with:
- Experience in food manufacturing, ideally in a High Risk Production Environment (minimum 2+ years).
- Practical understanding of cooking mechanisms and machinery—experience in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented and committed to paperwork accuracy and compliance.
- Proactive and motivating: a self-starter who can engage peers and contribute to driving team performance.
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and embraces continuous improvement and further training.
Until full operational autonomy is achieved, candidates will receive full on-the-job and external training.
