Location: Able to travel to Manchester or Brentwood

We are seeking an experienced Oversight Manager who will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and oversight of robust frameworks for People Risk, Legal Risk, Claims Risk, and Fraud Risk, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, business needs, and industry best practice.

You will provide analytical review and challenge of end-to-end business performance from a risk perspective, delivering insight into key drivers of risk and the performance of functional interrelationships across the Saturn Group and its outsourced partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide second-line oversight and challenge across People, Legal, Claims and Fraud Risk, ensuring frameworks, policies, appetite, strategy, metrics and RCSAs remain effective, proportionate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and challenge the effectiveness of risk management frameworks, controls, processes, risk events, exceptions and remediation plans, ensuring risks are identified, assessed and managed within appetite.

  • Monitor emerging risks and trends, providing insight and recommendations to strengthen resilience, governance and control effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, business teams and outsourced partners, providing trusted risk advice and influencing informed decision-making.
  • Facilitate transparent and constructive engagement with stakeholders, translating complex risk issues into clear, actionable insights and promoting accountability across the business.
  • Provide second-line opinions and assurance on risk-related initiatives, attend governance committees to deliver oversight and challenge, and contribute to CRO and other risk reporting.
  • Champion a positive, innovative and risk-aware culture, supporting organisational change, employee engagement and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
