Role Description
The Owner or Writer at Dubai Business Book Club will manage the day-to-day operations of the club, including planning and hosting regular book discussions, events, and networking sessions. This full-time, on-site role in the London Area, United Kingdom involves curating reading lists, reviewing and summarizing books, and creating written content such as articles, newsletters, and social media posts that reflect the club’s focus on entrepreneurship and business development. The role includes engaging with members, fostering a welcoming and inclusive community, and building partnerships with local businesses, authors, and speakers. The Owner or Writer will also oversee basic administrative tasks, maintain communications with members, and support the growth and visibility of the club.

- Strong writing and editing abilities, with experience in creating clear, engaging content for blogs, newsletters, or social media.
- Interest in and familiarity with business, entrepreneurship, leadership, and personal development topics, especially through books and reading.
- Community-building and event coordination skills, including organizing small group discussions, meetups, or workshops.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse professionals and facilitate inclusive group conversations.
- Basic marketing and outreach capabilities, such as promoting events, growing membership, and managing an online presence.
- Self-management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time in a small, growing organization.
- Comfort working on-site in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend events.
- Prior experience running a club, community, small business, or content platform is beneficial but not required.
