PA - CCCM/Mergers & Acquisitions

About the Role

Join a global team of professionals at a leading law firm. Your role will involve delivering professional secretarial, administrative, and client-facing support to a group of legal professionals within our Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions (CCCM/M&A) department.

This position requires a proactive, responsible individual with strong organisational skills, an ability to independently manage workloads, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions. You’ll also need flexibility to move across different legal groups or support teams as business needs fluctuate.

Key Responsibilities

Key duties may evolve over time to align with organisational changes. Collaboration with colleagues is essential within our Responsible Business Program.

    • Conduct confidential administrative discussions to ensure a balanced workload.
  • Organisation & Initiative

    • Demonstrate strong organisational skills, proactively suggesting solutions and highlighting issues.
    • Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment and communicate proactively with fee earners to review work progress.
  • Task Ownership & Quality Assurance

    • Take full responsibility for assignments, ensuring timely, high-quality completion.
    • Monitor workload, prioritise effectively, and keep fee earners informed on progress.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
