JOB TITLE: PA to MD, Head of CIB Coverage

LOCATION: London HOURS: Full-Time WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid (at least two days per week or 40% time in office) Application Deadline: Thursday 16 July 2026 Salary Range: £0 – £0 (negotiable based on experience)

Job Description Summary

About the Role CIB Coverage at Lloyds Banking Group leads client coverage and origination for its largest corporate and institutional clients—across sectors like the UK, Europe, Crown Dependencies, and North America. This includes the Sustainable Finance & Transition team.

You’ll provide dedicated Personal Assistant (PA) support to the Managing Director (MD), Head of CIB Coverage, managing a complex diary, coordinating travel, preparing briefings, and supporting key business activities. This role sits within the Executive Office team, working alongside the Chief of Staff (Executive Assistant) and Business Manager.

The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, and resilient, able to thrive in a dynamic environment while maintaining discretion and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities

  • Diary & Time Management

    • Proactively manage a demanding diary, balancing internal, client, and external commitments with sound judgement.
    • Collaborate with the Executive Assistant and Business Manager to align priorities.
  • Meeting & Event Coordination

    • Prepare meeting papers, briefings, and presentations, liaising with stakeholders across the Lloyds Banking Group.
    • Support key business meetings, events, and communications.
  • Travel & Logistics

    • Handle domestic and international travel schedules (including UK, North America, and other business locations).
    • Approve expenses, corporate card transactions, gifts, and hospitality processes.

  • Stakeholder Management

    • Build strong relationships with senior staff (Sector Heads, Relationship Directors, Executive Offices) while interfacing effectively across networks of PAs.
  • Wider Business Support

    • Act as a key point of contact for the Executive Office, handling enquiries consistently and professionally.
    • Anticipate needs and resolve issues with proactive, attentive leadership.

Requirements

  • Essential Skills & Experience
    • Proven ability to manage complicated diaries and competing priorities with efficiency.
    • Experience supporting a senior executive with fluctuating demands (preferably from a corporate, financial, or institutional sector).
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, combined with high discretion.
    • Exceptional organisation, judgement, and attention to detail in fast-paced settings.
    • Proactive mindset with an ability to anticipate needs and execute efficiently.
