Personal Assistant to Managing Director, Head of CIB Coverage
Location: London Type: Full-Time Work Arrangements: Hybrid (minimum two days per week at one of our office sites)
About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious, proactive and highly motivated individual to join Personal Assistant to the Managing Director, Head of CIB Coverage (GEC-1).
CIB Coverage is responsible for leading client coverage and origination for Lloyds Banking Group's largest corporate and institutional clients across diverse sectors. Operating in the UK, Europe, Crown Dependencies and North America, the division is also home to the Sustainable Finance & Transition team.
Key Responsibilities
You will provide dedicated Personal Assistant (PA) support to a senior executive with a demanding schedule, encompassing both internal and external commitments. Key tasks include:
- Managing a complex diary, ensuring optimal utilisation of time across diverse commitments
- Coordinating domestic and international travel, including logistics across the UK, North America, and other key business locations
- Preparing meeting materials, briefings, and presentations in collaboration with stakeholders
- Supporting the smooth operation of day-to-day business activities, including:
- Coordinating key meetings, events, and business priorities
- Handling a broad range of enquiries with professionalism and discretion
- Serving as the primary point of contact for the Executive Office
- Working closely with the Chief of Staff (Executive Assistant) and Business Manager to drive the Executive Office and business success

This role demands strong organisation skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage competing priorities while engaging with stakeholders across all organisational levels.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Proactively managing a complex executive diary and aligning schedules efficiently
- Meeting preparation, briefings, and presentation coordination with senior stakeholders and Executive Offices across the Group
- Supporting a dynamic global travel schedule
- Managing expenses, corporate card approvals, invoices, and corporate hospitality
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Sector Heads, Relationship Directors, and Executive PA leaders
- Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global financial environment
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Exceptional organisational and resource management skills
- Experience supporting a senior leader managing competing priorities
- Proficient diary and time management, including handling complex schedules
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills
- High-degree of discretion, sound judgment, and attention to detail
- Proactive problem-solving abilities with the ability to anticipate needs
