About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a PA to join our Corporate & Banking Team in Leicester.

Job Purpose

This role works closely with Fee Earners and Partners in the Corporate & Banking team to provide administrative support to enhance their effectiveness in a way that is positive, efficient and pro-actively anticipates the support that team members require.

This role should support them to make the best use of their time by dealing with all secretarial and administrative tasks on their behalf.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Type, compile and produce reports, presentations and correspondence for the supervising Partner
  • Undertake projects or tasks on behalf of the team, using initiative and organisational skills to complete with limited supervision
  • Take minutes at meetings as required, track actions, follow up with attendees
  • Diary management; setting up events and meetings
  • Undertake a range of complex technical administrative duties for the team or the firm
  • Collate and file expenses and mileage claims for the team
  • Update the team regularly on important tasks and deadlines
  • Liaise with clients to screen phone calls, enquiries and requests and handle them when appropriate
  • Undertake printing and scanning as well as administrative support for the team
  • Work alongside the BD team identifying, planning and arranging business development activities and events
  • Undertake any other duties as required including assisting with conducting a review and maintaining fee earner inboxes (if applicable) and identifying the most urgent items that would need to be actioned
