Job Overview
Working as part of a team in a busy appointments call centre, booking a range of outpatient clinic appointments and theatre procedures.
Main duties of the job
A fabulous opportunity has become available to join the patient booking department based in Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
We are looking for hard-working individuals to join our team. The role is based in a busy call centre environment and the successful applicants will be part of a team of experienced staff with responsibility for managing a waiting list and booking patients.
This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure is essential.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.

Essential Criteria
- Good standard of education GCSE maths English A- C
- NVQ3 or equivalent or knowledge or experience working in a busy office environment
- I.T knowledge Micro soft packages
Desirable criteria
- Understanding of Medical terminology/ NHS experience
- Experience of working with NHS systems
Skills
Essential criteria
- Experience of working in an Acute hospital/GP practice or Call centre environment
- Experience of working with general public
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working with NHS systems
- Competent in use of Microsoft office
