Packaging Quality Engineer | Monster Energy
Location: London (based)
Travel: ~40% across EMEA

The Role
Reporting into the QA Director Europe and the QA Director Africa, this role owns packaging quality across the EMEA region: auditing can, lid and preform manufacturers, validating specs at copack sites, and resolving nonconformances before they reach the shelf. Based in London, with travel of around 40% across EMEA.
What You Will Do
- Audit packaging manufacturing and copack sites across cans, lids and preforms
- Own technical integration from concept through to production
- Validate specs across cans, glass and PET bottles, trays, multipacks, closures and shrink wrap
- Handle consumer and customer complaints tied to packaging
- Monitor line performance and run the claims process
- Work with Engineering and NPD to resolve nonconformances

What We Are Looking For
- 3-5+ years in Packaging Engineering or QA
- Degree in Engineering, Packaging, Chemistry, Microbiology or Food Science. A Master's is a plus
- Comfortable on a plant floor and in front of a KPI deck
- Able to travel around 40% across EMEA
- Confident auditing and building relationships directly with copack sites and component suppliers, not just working from behind a desk
- A natural problem solver, comfortable owning nonconformances through to root cause
- Organised and adaptable, able to prioritise across multiple sites and priorities at once
