Packaging Sales Representative
As a leader in the print industry, John Roberts is looking for qualified and talented individuals to grow our highly recognized, award-winning team. We are currently looking for an experienced Packaging Sales Representative to join us.
Available Hours: Full-time
Job Description
As a Sales Representative in the packaging industry, you will be responsible for selling a wide range of packaging solutions to various market segments, including retail, manufacturing, food and beverage, consumer goods, and other business-to-business sectors.
Essential Duties

- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with existing and new customers by understanding and addressing their packaging needs and goals.
- Create and execute a strategic plan to achieve revenue targets and maximize long-term account revenue opportunities.
- Sell a full line of packaging solutions, including custom packaging, sustainable options, and specialized packaging services to local, regional, and national businesses.
- Collaborate with packaging team to build and sustain customer relationships and deliver exceptional service.
- Prepare and present proposals that detail unique customer packaging solutions, pricing, and implementation strategies.
- Deliver customer presentations, demonstrations, and proposals effectively.
- Utilize internal resources to present comprehensive packaging solutions to customers.
- Submit all request quotes and collaborate with the estimating team to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain up-to-date customer information and contacts using the internal CRM system.

Job Requirements
- Previous experience in packaging sales or a related field. (5+)
- Driven to achieve high levels of sales performance and earning potential.
- Dynamic, outgoing personality with strong networking abilities.
- Knowledge of all phases of packaging solutions, including materials, design, and production processes.
- Independent, self-motivated sales professional with the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent cold-calling, objection-handling, and closing skills.
- Effective communication of ideas, information, and concepts in various presentation settings.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse personalities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.

Pay Range
$80,000-150,000 + Commission Based on experience
