Position Summary

Packing (Machine Stand-in) Operatives – Double Day Shift

Scientific Games International Ltd is a subsidiary of the $1Billion pa turnover, globally renowned Scientific Games Corporation. Our purpose-built, state-of-the-art printing facility in Leeds supplies lottery scratch cards to clients in Europe.

We are currently recruiting for Packing (Machine Stand-in) Operatives to work on a double day shift pattern within our busy, state of the art printing facility in Hunslet, Leeds, West Yorkshire.

The role involves checking, sorting and packing lottery tickets in a production line environment. Other duties include making up boxes, and general housekeeping to keep the shopfloor clean, tidy and safe. In addition to this, you will also be expected to run packaging machinery in order to provide cover across the shift as and when required. Therefore, the successful candidate will ideally have experience of operating finishing machines within a busy, fast paced manufacturing environment.

We are looking for people who are hardworking, reliable, and flexible to join our team. You should have a good level of manual dexterity, good numeracy skills, be able to communicate efficiently with others, and a keen eye for detail. Ideally you will have worked in a similar fast paced manufacturing environment before with experience of running packaging machinery. This is an essential requirement for the role. You will also be required to be trained in quality control and use of the pedestrian pallet truck.

  • £27,610.23 per annum
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Alternate early (0600-1330) and late (1330-2100) shift pattern
  • In addition to this we offer 26 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, free carparking onsite, plus a pension contribution match up to 6%.
