Job Description
Job Title: Packing Operator
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Deeside
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday- Friday
Salary: £24,785
Industry: Life Sciences- Pharmaceutical drug development (GMP)
We’re looking for an experienced Operator to join our Manufacturing team at SGS CDMO Solutions. If you’ve worked in a production or warehouse environment and have hands-on experience with packing, labelling, or working on the production floor, this could be a great next step.

- Dispense, pack, label, and prepare products to meet the production plan
- Follow processes for primary and secondary packing of finished drug products
- Support smooth operations across multiple cleanrooms
- Set up rooms and equipment, complete production documentation, and maintain accurate logs
- Contribute to a “right first time” culture and support problem solving
- Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards
- Carry out post-production cleaning, reconciliation, and documentation closure
- Work closely with Room Leads and the wider production team to achieve the delivery of finished drug product
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in packing within a production or warehouse setting
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
- A team player with good communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
