Paediatric Healthcare Assistant – Carlisle, Cumbria
Location & Stipend
- Base: Carlisle, Cumbria
- Pay: £13.50 per hour
- Hours:
- Weeknights only: Mon–Fri 15:30–20:30 (25 hours per week)

About the Role
As a Paediatric Healthcare Assistant, your core responsibility is to provide compassionate, client-focused support to a child with specialised medical and developmental needs, including:
- Acquired Brain Injury
- Wolf-Parkinson-White Syndrome
- Underlying metabolic disorders
- Past history of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
- Use of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP)
You’ll play a vital role in ensuring this child’s physiological, emotional, and social wellbeing—from medical observations to fostering secure relationships.

Requirements
- Desirable: Level 2 or 3 NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care (qualifications must be current).
