Position: Paediatric Care Assistant
Location: Leicester, Leicestershire
Pay rate: £13.50 per hour
Shifts: Waking Nights
Note: At present, we're only able to progress applications from candidates who hold existing work authorisation for the UK.

About The Role & Our Client
As a Healthcare Assistant at Komplex Care, you’ll be providing care and support to our client during the night, ensuring they are kept safe and comfortable.

What We’re Looking For
Experience with children Compassion, resilience and flexibility Confidence in providing care to children with complex needs Warm & bubbly approach, willing to engage and show empathy. A team-first attitude and commitment to delivering person-centred care
Key Responsibilities
Medical Support: Assist with suctioning, PEG feeding and medication administration. Health Monitoring: Support the child with responding appropriately to medical emergencies. Personal Care & Mobility: Assist with moving and handling and daily personal care routines. Educational Support: Support the child’s learning, development, and engagement within the classroom environment. Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, healthcare professionals, and family members to provide consistent, high-quality care.

Skills & Qualities Required
Experience in medical or complex care for children
Knowledge of PEG Patience, empathy, and strong observational skills
Ability to follow care plans and therapeutic programmes

Qualifications
Level 2 or 3 NVQ/QCF in health care is desirable.
