The Opportunity
We are seeking Paediatric Clinical Homecare Nurses to join our growing nursing team. As a Clinical Homecare Nurse with HealthNet, you’ll work with both children and adults in the community—whether at home, school, or work—helping patients maintain their daily lives while receiving essential care.
Key Focus Areas
- Supporting patients with conditions such as:
- Growth hormone deficiency
- Autoimmune disorders
- Rare and orphan diseases
As a nurse, you’ll provide one-to-one care, including:
- Teaching patients or carers to self-administer injections
- Delivering complex IV therapies

Main Responsibilities
- Deliver consistently high standards of patient care on behalf of HealthNet and our partners
- Teach patients, carers, or family members to:
- Self-administer therapies
- Manage complex dosing protocols
- Conduct consultations via:
- Telephone calls
- Virtual consultations
- Home visits
- Support seamless transitions between hospital and home-based care
- Maintain exceptional standards in patient experience and service delivery

Travel Requirements
This is a field-based role, where travel is an integral part of your day. Your responsibilities include visiting patients across wide geographical areas, with routes varying based on clinical needs.
- No fixed location radius—you may occasionally travel:
- Up to two hours or more between patients
- Travel forms part of your working hours, managed efficiently by our scheduling team.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Children’s Nurse (NMC registration mandatory)
- Computer literacy (e.g., ability to document electronically)
Desirable (Not Mandatory)
- 3+ years’ post-registration experience
- Homecare experience
- Skills in cannulation and venepuncture
- Experience with:
- IV therapies
- Catheter/port access management
