An exciting fixed-term opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Band 6 Children’s Clinical Research Nurse to join our inspirational Seal CRF team
The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality research and clinical care for children and young people with a range of allergies, within both non-commercial and commercially funded studies.
About the Role
This post is dedicated to studies conducted exclusively on the Seal CRF and involves leading and providing care for participants enrolled in early- and late-phase research trials. The postholder will liaise with Principal Investigators and members of the multidisciplinary team (including sponsors) to develop and maintain robust systems and processes that ensure the highest standards of clinical care, participant safety, and research governance.

Requirements
- Strong clinical skills and experience in managing patients with complex needs, including recognising and responding to the deteriorating child.
- Previous research experience is desirable but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided during induction.

Role Details
As a Children’s Research Nurse you will be working with the wider multidisciplinary team across commercial and non-commercial studies to deliver a seamless pathway for patients participating in research trials/studies undertaken on Seal CRF.
- Responsible for the holistic nursing care of children/young people and their families on existing and new clinical trials.
- Contribute to the assessment and management of their care pathways.
- Leading on study set-up activities, screening, recruiting, educating, and monitoring children and young people in studies.
- Collation and documentation of study data.
- Trained to take informed consent for selected studies which do not involve a medicinal product.
