Job Opportunity at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust

South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a dedicated and forward-thinking experienced nurse to join our Acute Paediatric Team based at Warwick Hospital.

About the Role

The Paediatric Unit is comprised of:

  • MacGregor Ward, a 17 inpatient Paediatric beds (including High Dependency Beds)
  • a Paediatric Outpatient Area
  • a 5 bedded Paediatric Assessment Unit (PAU)

We work closely with the Emergency department and within our team we have our clinicians, Paediatric ACPs, Paediatric Physiotherapists, and Specialist nurses who you will work alongside.

Responsibilities

  • To lead and coordinate the team to maintain and deliver a high standard of family-centered care to all children, young people, and their families in accordance with the ward philosophy.
  • To ensure high quality and cost-effective services at all times and deputise ward manager in their absence.
