The service sees over 12,000 outpatient attendances annually and manages a broad range of complex and rare dermatological conditions.


The Role

As Consultant Dermatologist, you will:

  • Deliver expert care across the full spectrum of paediatric dermatology.
  • Lead outpatient clinics and provide inpatient consultation services.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and specialist services.
  • Supervise and mentor NCHDs and junior medical staff.
  • Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, teaching, and research.
  • Participate in the consultant on-call rota.
  • Support the ongoing development of paediatric dermatology services.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Specialist registration (or eligibility for specialist registration) in Dermatology.
  • At least 2 years of postgraduate training and experience in Paediatric Dermatology.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Fellowship training in Paediatric Dermatology.
  • Previous involvement in research, teaching, or service development initiatives.
