Paediatric Nurse
Location: Cardiff
Job Types: Full-time | Part-time | Temporary (ongoing)
MedGen Healthcare is currently seeking skilled, compassionate Paediatric Nurses or RGNs with paediatric experience to provide high-quality, home-based care for children and young adults with complex health needs.

The Role
You will be delivering clinical care to children and young people with complex medical needs in the community. This role requires clinical confidence, excellent assessment skills, and a calm, family-centred approach.
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in line with individual care plans.
- Manage and monitor complex clinical interventions such as:
- Tracheostomy care and suctioning
- Ventilation support (invasive and non-invasive)
- Enteral feeding (PEG/NG)
- Oxygen therapy
- Seizure management
- Medication administration (including emergency medication)
- Monitor and document vital signs and clinical observations.
- Provide emotional reassurance and support to both the child/young person and their family.
- Maintain accurate, detailed clinical records in line with CQC standards.

Requirements
- Active NMC pin
- Minimum 6 months UK healthcare experience
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Practical Manual Handling & Basic Life Support certification
- Drivers License (preferred but not essential)

What We Offer
- Competitive Pay Rates: £45.00 - £52.00 per hour
- Mileage Reimbursement: 20p per mile (up to 100 miles)
