About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their skills working within Early Years in a small and supportive team. We are looking for a self-motivated, friendly, and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our established Children’s Therapy Team in North Lincolnshire.

Band 5-6 development post would be considered if all essential criteria is not met.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Speech and Language support and input to children within the Early Years arena, including children with a diverse range of communication difficulties.
  • Work closely with the established team, Early Years Education providers, and Local Authority colleagues.
  • Support the team lead in new service development activities.
  • Provide high-quality Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy assessment and interventions and support for a wide range of less and more complex conditions to provide evidence-based and timely support, reducing the risk of harm and improving outcomes.
  • Manage your own caseload and a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision.
  • Lead delegated service improvement and quality initiatives to drive forward improvement for CYP in our area.
  • Provide supervision, support, and training for junior staff and other professionals to ensure a highly skilled, supported workforce.
  • Deliver and develop training for settings, practitioners, and carers.
  • Provide specialist written and verbal advice, including statutory duties.
