About the Role

We are looking to expand our current Paediatric Staff Nurse team and would like to hear from enthusiastic and committed Paediatric nurses to join our busy ward at Scunthorpe General Hospital. Applicants should hold 1st level registration and, like the rest of our nursing team, demonstrate motivation towards delivering the highest standard of nursing care and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

“Please only apply for this position if you are a registered children's nurse with NMC PIN. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept applications from Red List Countries as per NHS Employers and WHO guidance.”

Responsibilities

  • Registered nurse working as part of a ward/department team, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of children with medical and surgical illness.
  • Promote a safe working environment for the children in our care.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
