ABOUT THE EDDIE JORDAN FOUNDATION
The Eddie Jordan Foundation was established in memory of Eddie Jordan to unlock potential in young people through mentorship, education, and entrepreneurship. The Foundation supports individuals across four fields that defined Eddie's life and career — Sport, Music, Sailing, and Business — by providing access, belief, opportunity, and momentum to those who might not otherwise get the chance. As a registered charity, the Foundation relies on strong day-to-day administration and coordination to deliver its mission effectively.
ROLE PURPOSE
We are looking for a motivated and organised intern to join our Belfast office and support the Foundation's day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who wants practical experience in the charity sector, working across administration, governance, communications, and programme support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Belfast office, including managing correspondence, filing, and record-keeping
- Assist with the coordination of Foundation programmes, events, and mentorship activities
- Support the maintenance of accurate records for beneficiaries, donors, and partners in line with the Foundation's data protection policies
- Help prepare materials for meetings, including agendas, minutes, and briefing notes
- Assist with basic financial administration, such as processing invoices and expenses, under guidance from the finance team
- Support communications and social media activity, helping to promote the Foundation's work and impact
- Liaise with external partners, suppliers, and stakeholders as required
- Help research and prepare applications for funding, grants, or partnerships
- Undertake any other reasonable duties to support the smooth running of the charity

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
